Three Things I've learned from starting my Floral Business

  1. Complete strangers will support you. When I started my business in a new town, I didn’t know anyone and I was honestly nervous. But I quickly learned that the business community is amazing. Other small businesses and creatives have been some of my biggest supporters. Sometimes the people who cheer you on the loudest are the ones who didn’t even know you before.

  2. No one really knows what they’re doing at first.I’ve met many successful entrepreneurs who seem like they have everything figured out, but the truth is that everyone is learning as they go. If you’re scared to start a business, just know mistakes will happen. I’ve made plenty. It’s all part of the process.

  3. Consistency matters more than perfection. There were many days when I didn’t feel ready, confident, or “perfect.” But showing up anyway — creating, posting, designing, and connecting with people — is what actually builds a business.

If you’re thinking about starting something, this is your sign. Start before you feel ready.
